FAQs
Who is Sapphia for?
We are looking for a variety of people: femmes, mascs, tops, bottoms, switches, bi, curious, pan, gay, lez, gender-queer, gender non-conforming – you name it! From Lipstick to Chapstick, you’ll fit right in!! All that we ask is that you are safe, smart and kind.
Sapphia events are for ladies and trans people only (no cis het men), and Sapphia Plus events are open to all (including cis het men).
Do you require membership?
Sapphia is not currently membership-based. We plan to offer membership once we determine there is enough critical mass to develop a member base. In the meantime, we do require vetting to attend our play parties.
Why do you require safe sex?
Sapphia is not currently membership-based (is not a closed group) and does not require attendees to verify sexual health status (recent negative STI tests).
Do you require proof of vaccination or COVID testing to attend Sapphia events?
We do not currently require proof of vaccination or testing to attend our events, but will follow CDC recommendations and revise this policy if needed in the future.
Can I use a scene name or pseudonym instead of my legal name?
Absolutely! Please do use and go by whatever your Preferred Name is. However, we will need you to provide the name listed on your photo ID so that security can cross-check your identity at the door. You do not have to use your legal name at the event; the security person will read your ID silently and welcome you using your Preferred Name.
I bought a ticket but now I can’t make it. Can I get a refund, or give my ticket to someone else?
Tickets for events with playspaces are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable to another event or person. Ticket holders must bring photo ID with them to events with playspaces and ID will be checked at the door. No tickets will be available on the door.
